I’m hoping to use this uneditioned section as a way to show and provide a variety of work, some of which came about unexpectedly. In some ways the 90′s were the most creative period in commercial photography, the economy was good, the clientele often younger and edgier. We saw a lot fads like cross processing, [...]

I’ve wanted to do this for years, seemes everything takes a long time in my world! I take pictures constantly, with anything I have from phone to view camera. I like a lot of these pictures and have decades worth. If they don’t become a part of an editioned body of work it doesn’t mean [...]

Pacific Northwest Galleries 4, 5, and 6 have now been added to the site. Though I have been making many more photographs, and continue to scan older negatives, updating the site always seems to take a back seat. This will be the first work added since 2012, and there is much more to come.

Three years ago I had a holiday print sale of an image that many people had seen and enjoyed, but was not part of a limited edition or larger project. Therefore making it available for purchase for gifts or whatever, unlimited, at a very reasonable price worked out very well. Again this year I have [...]

On September 7th, “Travelers” opens at the Seattle Art Museum Gallery. Recently they decided to expand the show to include a landscape section, and I was invited to have a presence there. I’m not sure what additional artists, including myself, have been added not yet shown on the website, but I will update this information [...]

To my local friends, a little community involvement in something essentially down the street- My accountants and friends of decades take part and support the local community by hosing artists each month to take part. After years of not quite getting it together, I’ll have a dozen or so pieces at their business for the [...]

Lenswork Podcast

Looks like LensWork used one of my images for a podcast. Brooks Jensen always contributes so much to the high standards of photography. I value having been published by them and included in any way at all. http://daily.lenswork.com/2014/10/podcast-875-kalaloch-wa-by-tyler-boley.html Lenswork has been an example of, and supporter of, a real commitment to photography and those who [...]

Bainbridge Arts & Crafts will have a show of 7 gallery photographers in June and I will have three pieces amongst work by Harry Ableman, Kate DeVeaux, Colleen Meacham, Stephen Rosen, Darryl Schmidt, and of Kay Walsh.
